Hello, English 9!

Hi everyone! I’m so glad to be meeting you all.

Here are the materials you’ll need for class this year:

A 3-ring binder

5 labeled dividers, arranged in the following categories:

1. Class Notes/Homework
2. Vocabulary
3. Writing
4. Reading
5. Other Handouts

Put the loose-leaf in the Class Notes/Hmwk section of binder

You’ll also need:

A black and white composition notebook for a journal

Several blue or black pens

Several red, green or purple pens for editing

Some highlighters

A good deal of post-it notes (for active reading) and flashcards (blank index cards work) for vocabulary

Make sure you bring at least the binder, pens, and all the things that go in the binder on the first day of class.
