Shakespeare Classes

November 30, 2011

Here is the New York Times article that I would like you to write a 1-pager in response to.

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/23/magazine/wouldnt-it-be-cool-if-shakespeare-wasnt-shakespeare.html?pagewanted=all

Remember: 12-point font, Times New Roman, 1-inch margins, MLA format.

Oh, and in this response, you are allowed to use “I” and “me” because I am specifically asking you to talk about your stance on this issue and whether it has changed over time, where you are with it now versus at the beginning of the semester, etc.

Shakespeare Extra Credit Film – THURSDAY night (November 3)

November 2, 2011

We will meet tomorrow night at the Bow Tie Royale 6 movie theater at 542 Westport Avenue in Norwalk to see Anonymous. The film starts at 6:30, but I’m planning on being there around 6:15 to get tickets; I recommend you do the same so you can get all comfy and situated before the movie starts. In order to receive full extra credit for attending this event, you are expected to simply go and quietly watch the movie. If your presence is proving a disruption, you will receive zero points for attendance.
