Gattaca – Film – Sunday, Feb. 7th

Again, Gattaca, the 3rd film in the sophomore film series, will be shown

at the Darien Library at 2 p.m. in the community room.

This is the simplest way to see this film so you don’t have to go scrounging around for a rental.

You must see this film by Feb. 8th for my class.

Period 4:  you have a spelling and affect/effect quiz this Friday, Jan. 29th.  You have a vocab quiz on To Kill a Mockingbird words 50-70 NEXT FRIDAY, February 5th.  In class I told you it was Tuesday.  This was a mistake.  Only your vocab packet will be due on Tuesday.

If you did not give me a paper copy of your Odyssey paper, please print one tonight and hand it in tomorrow.  Make sure it is stapled.

If you did not submit your paper to http://www.turnitin.com already, please make sure you have done so by tonight.  Come see me during periods 1, 6, 8, or after school if you need help with turnitin.

Go on http://www.poetryoutloud.org and browse the poems on the site.  Choose two that you might think you’re interested in reciting.  Be sure to choose something of decent length.
